“After ABC announced the cancellation of the country music drama Nashville, star Connie Britton stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers to discuss the end of its four-season run. Britton plays Rayna Jaymes, a country superstar in the mold of a Faith Hill or Trisha Yearwood.
Lionsgate, which produces Nashville, is reportedly shopping the show’s fifth season to other outlets, said The Hollywood Reporter. One of those outlets could be Hulu, which currently has subscription video on demand (SVoD) rights to Nashville. Last year, Hulu scooped The Mindy Project after it was canceled by Fox. ”
