Kacey Musgraves sure knows how to celebrate a birthday. Musgraves rang in the big 2-8 with a retro-themed birthday party at a local roller rink over the weekend and shared all the festivities with fans on Instagram.
Donned in her best ’90s attire — complete with pigtails, a choker and flannel wrapped around her waist — Musgraves couple-skated along to Britney Spears, was doused in confetti and even hand delivered a pizza to friends. The singer’s best buds skated the night away to ’90s classics like “…Baby One More Time.”
“I made it past the Forever 27 club, y’all! hah,” Musgraves writes alongside a picture of her room decorated in balloons. “And woke up to really sweet birthday morning including balloons and crepes and mimosas and even … an old school Lite-Brite! Cheers, you guys! It was a good year and it’s getting even better!”
Musgraves turned 28 on Sunday (Aug. 21) and by the looks of it, kicked off her new year with a very good start.
